The Supranational Network of Boards of Directors

Transactions between large corporations & other entities such as governments have created a new, international level of sociocultural integration. A historical account of the emergence of this level is presented, & the structure of the network is examined, with particular reference to the information provided by W. Lloyd Warner & Darab B. Unwalla ("The System of Interlocking Directorates" in The Emergent American Society: Large-Scale Organizations, Warner, W. Lloyd, Unwalla, Darab B., & Trimm, John H.
