Revolution betrayed? Romania and the national salvation front

When Nicolae Ceausescu's regime was overthrown, the National Salvation Front (NSF) took power and pledged to lead Romania out of Ceausescuism. The possibility that the NSF is really an authoritarian regime as many of the party's goals remain untouched is explored.
