Zusammenfassung:Extract: During the late 1950's, selected low-income rural counties were chosen for the implementation of a pilot rural development program. In the 1960's, these programs were expanded to virtually all counties and came to be known as "Community Resource Development (CRD)." This study estimates the impacts of those programs upon a variety of quality of life indicators for all Arkansas counties that were nonmetropolitan in 1960.
