Zusammenfassung:Pregnancies by adolescents are thought to be negative for the mother as well as the child born to an adolescent. The association between physical and mental health problems of adolescent mothers is compared to those of sexually inactive adolescents and sexually active adolescents who are not rearing children. The results are discussed in terms of potential intervention approaches.
