Zusammenfassung: | Divorce mediation is explored as a mode of intervention with couples in conflict that is grounded in, & thus shaped by, specific SE & political contexts. A feminist perspective raises important questions for family therapists involved in such mediation, including: Is neutrality possible? Does agreement equal success? How do mediators' backgrounds & orientations shape the course of mediation? How can sexual stereotyping be avoided? After raising some cautions, several concepts from family therapy are utilized to develop a feminist-oriented mediation model. 30 References. K. Hyatt |
