On Babies and Bathwater: a Comment on Evans' 'Economics and Politics Revisited'
Pattie et al examine Geoff Evans' case from the standpoint of the 1997 General Election in Britain. Aggregate models suggest that government support throughout the electoral cycle moves in step with economic expectations. Pattie et al are analysing different end-points within the cycle.
