The Attitudes Toward Democracy of Japanese Teachers

A discussion of a res project carried out in Japan to determine which of 3 democratic viewpoints are held by public school teachers. The viewpoints investigated were a) rugged individualism, b) benevolent paternalism, c) pragmatic liberalism.
