Zusammenfassung: | An account of Folk-Islam in the life-cycle of the Jama Mapun, a Moslem community of the Southern Philippines, based on a 3 months' pilot study in 1963 & a 6 months' field study in 1966 on Kagayan island. The Jama Mapun are traditional farmers & traders, & the study was made in the village of Duhul Batu. The life cycle is described & the role of FolkIslam at each stage noted.
