The British Armed Services

Examines the contemporary role of British armed services in light of interdependent international & domestic challenges. Recent emergency & conflict response activity & the complexities of peacekeeping activity, including its impact on war-fighting capabilities, are discussed. Increases in number & variety of military missions have transformed the structure & interaction in the armed forces. Efforts to improve recruitment, treatment, & retention of personnel, including social equality issues & the reforms of the military justice system.
