Zusammenfassung: | Public Law 89-182, the State Technical Services Act of 1965, is recognized as an attempt to expand the rate at which new technologies become absorbed into the economy. Further, 'industr extension' is regarded as an emerging soc system containing the usually recognized structural elements of roles, status, authority, & rights, & possessing a necessary value orientation. The present level of activity under P. L. 89-182 is discussed, & it is concluded that early recognition of 'industr extension' as a soc system should contribute to having a system which is capable of necessary adaptive behavior. AA. |
