The Concept of "Intergenerational Learning"

The authors propose the concept of "generational learning" for analyzing those forms of learning that are related to generational status in the sense of difference or identity of age, & that are meaningful for the transmission & acquisition of culture as well as for the processes of the person's self-constitution. The concept seems apt to stimulate more attention to the perspective of relations between generations within educational theory & research &, vice versa, to the topic of learning within social science research on generations. 59 References.
