Zusammenfassung:Observations in private practice suggest 4 criteria for providing contraceptive information wisely: (1) parents should agree on it as part of girl's natural growth, (2) childhood sex educ should have preceeded it, (3) information should be full & detailed, (4) the cooperation of a sympathetic MD is advisable. US daughters do not often approach their mothers about such matters. The Scandinavian countries are far ahead of us here. Parents there are opposed to promiscuity & provide the information in the hope that it will lead to happy marriage & fam life. Scandinavian youth have responded in a mature, responsible way. M. Duke.
