Image and Orientation of Future Agricultural Specialists

In an investigation of the psychology & motivation of agricultural technical college students, attitudes toward studies, peers, & career opportunities are examined. It is found that many Russian agricultural students select their curriculum & career on the grounds that it is the safest option of the path of least resistance: the agricultural technical college is regarded as less competitive, less difficult, &, for many rural youth, it is the primary guarantor of a college education. In closing, it is suggested that the vocational educational system in Russia be strengthened. Adapted from the source document.
