Zusammenfassung: | Victor Devinatz's thoughtful comments on Scoville (2001) provide the opportunity to explore possible answers to the question that he calls open - "whether Lenin supported the implementation of scientific management under socialism." It is entirely possible that Lenin foresaw the use of Taylorist methods beyond the period of state capitalism. At some point, Lenin wrote out a series of theses relating to the roles of trade unions in the Soviet Republic for consideration by the Ninth Congress of the Russian Communist Party later that year.
