Zusammenfassung: | In an attempt to dismantle the emotional structure of the "hypersensitive" paranoid personality, recourse is made to the correlation of the paranoid personality (as characterized by aggravated problems with emotions, behavior, & social contacts) & a negative indicator of quality of life (QOL), based on a study of 30 male psychiatric patients with paranoid-depressive syndrome, all assessed with premorbid hypersensitive personalities, per self-reported MMPI scores. As expected, negative QOL scores imply that the hypersensitive paranoid personality is ill-suited for social contact & interpersonal behavior, which leads to alienation & ineffectual challenge with the rest of the world. 1 Table, 13 References.
