Zusammenfassung:	"Chinese Christianity" refers to all Catholic and Protestant communities in China whether they are registered or unregistered churches founded by Western missionaries, the pre- 1949 traditions of Protestant independent churches such as the Little Flock, the True Jesus Church, and the Jesus Family, and after 1949, the pro-government and pro-Vatican Catholics as well as a wide range of newly emergent Christian sectarian groups in the 1980s and 1990s.
