Zusammenfassung: | Roustaei et al summarize the diverse efforts in archaeological studies of the Luristan in the Zagros Mountain, and provide a modern view of Paleolithic research in Iran, insofar as it is known. They point out the five substantive results of their study such as the testing of the idea that different geological zones of the Zagros were characterized by different kinds of sites, the presence of significant differences in contexts between Middle Paleolithic sites and Upper Paleolithic and Epipaleolithic ones. Details of each results are presented. |
