Zusammenfassung: | A new Emotional Self-Disclosure Scale examined the willingness of men and women to discuss their emotions with their parents and therapists, the effects of gender and culture on emotional disclosures to male and female friends and therapists and the impact of gender and the masculine role on willingness to emotionally disclose to parents and therapists. The results indicated that women disclose emotions and have emotions disclosed to them more easily than men. |
