PRISONER REENTRY: BEYOND PROGRAM EVALUATION

Terms like "reentry program" or "aftercare" are names that are applied uniformly to very different classes of events, and this heterogeneity can affect the ability to detect the effects of different factors on the dependent variable. "Beyond Boot Camp" is part of the growing literature on reentry that has the potential for shedding new light on the challenges and opportunities for receiving released inmates back into society in ways that make them productive and do not adversely affect the safety of the community.
