Zusammenfassung:Refuting the notion that Russia needs its own national sociology, the author discusses the works that are commonly accepted as evidence proving the existence of national (e.g. the British, American, French, German) sociological traditions. An analysis of the historic periodization shows, by author, that in the beginning of the 20th century the national sociological schools had reached their limits being eventually replaced by "grand-theories" that might be applied to different countries & cultures. In conclusion the author asserts that the idea of Russian national sociology is provided only by the incompetent supporters of the notion of "Russian exclusiveness.". References.
