Zusammenfassung: | This, the first synthesis of ILO principles on the right to strike, is the result of a thorough review of the decisions taken on this question by the bodies supervising the application of ILO standards - the (tripartite) Committee on Freedom of Association and the (independent) Committee of Experts on the Application of Conventions and Recommendations. Included is a selection of restrictions on the right to strike commonly found in national legislation, culled from cases recently examined by the Committee of Experts. The authors are lawyers in the International Labour Standards Department, and thus well placed to provide this authoritative review. |
