Zusammenfassung:National-state interests, the basis for civil society and stimulus of the policy of public consent, is one of the key concepts of modern political science and has two aspects: an internal aspect, based on the comprehension of community of interests of the nation in general; and external, meaning common national-state interests that are varied fields, their internal divergence, and sometimes antagonism. After a brief discussion of the economic component of national interests, civil society and geopolitics, the article arrives at the discussion of military personnel against this background of civil society and its growing individualism, nihilism, and false comradeship (and increased evasion of military service). Furthermore, civil support of the Russian armed forces, an indicator for the nations coherence and moral support for the army, dropped from 65% to 25% in the 1990s, and only retrieved 3% since, resting below the critical level of trust of 35%. To attack this tendency, the article proposes some (social) measures of support in the lines of increased human potential, to improve the level of educational training of the recruits allowing healthy morality principles, necessary to revive and develop a state into a prospering and strong country.
