This conclusion to a symposium, "Leadership: The Challenge and the Opportunity," notes that the world of practice in leadership has moved beyond the current work of academics & the need for an action agenda, especially in government, is pressing. Leaders today constantly face new pressures both internally & externally. Developing leaders could profit much from improved training & mentoring offered on a timely basis.
