Zusammenfassung:The National Federation of Independent Business consistently reports that the 2 greatest problems facing modern business are inflation and taxes. Because of these 2 factors, the failure rate of businesses is rising. Statistics indicate that 80% of all businesses in the US are in bankruptcy or receivership within 10 years of their founding. The failure rate is going to get worse unless meaningful actions are taken to reduce significantly the burdens of taxes and inflation. It appears that in attempting to raise standards of living for all non-profit segments of our society, we have lost sight of a fundamental concept, which is that the ability of American businesses to generate a profit supplies the abundance to all segments of our society. Since the tax laws and the regulatory agencies view small business in essentially the same way as they do the large corporations, society faces the risks of reducing the standard of living and destroying a large portion of the middle class. Small businesses need to get involved in the political process, in order to lower inflation and increase the chances of survival.
