Zusammenfassung: | In a continuing series, the etymologies of the following Croatian terms are given: (1) zacinjavac 'poet' & zacinka 'poetry' is traced to a calque of Greek diakonoz 'servant, minister', (2) the Croatian hapax legomena ozoja 'very much', ozoja ('meaning unknown'), & ozojan 'very big' are interpreted as Grecisms used in medieval alchemic terminology, & (3) the term recnik 'dictionary' is traced to a Russian source, & zvanik 'dictionary, vocabulary' is interpreted as an Italian calque - both attested in 18th-century Croatian lexicography. 32 References.
