Zusammenfassung: | Whole-language theorists are increasingly viewing reading & writing as tools for learning & are taking the position that an interest in reading & writing is an interest in learning. Whole language operates on the premise that all students must be heard, to encourage interaction & growth in all facets of the educational system. This includes teachers who develop the curriculum with the students & make a point of learning more about language & teaching through the response from their pupils. The future result of whole language is unknown, but will alter the notions of schooling as they currently exist. 7 References. A. Sturrock |
