Zusammenfassung:The Fry Readability Graph & the Raygor Readability Estimate are compared. Two experiments were conducted to examine the compatibility of the readability estimates, using 3 100-word passages. In experiment 2, 155 Coll students used 1 of the 2 methods to assign readability ratings to 6 passages with various readability levels. Results showed similar results for both methods & that the Raygor method took considerably less time than the Fry method. Reasons for considering the Raygor method an improvement over the Fry method are advanced. 2 Figures. B. Annesser
