Zusammenfassung:The emotional impact of a minor head injury on 25 relatives was investigated at interview six months after the event. Two and a half years later, eight of the relatives agreed to be reassessed. Psychological distress was identified at six months and appeared to persist for up to three years. This study was limited by the small number of participants, and further exploration with a larger sample is recommended.
