Zusammenfassung: | Harter's (1985) perceived competence questionnaire and a motor skills test was administered to 128 Fourth grade children of regular elementary schools. 2 samples were chosen and 1 group was involved in motoric remedial teaching classes and a group was selected as a control. Results externally validate the notion of perceived competence; they also underline the relevance of the concept of perceived athletic competence in the field of motoric remedial teaching.
