Zusammenfassung: | The PEP is an instrument that can be used for the assessment of children with pervasive developmental disorders, ranging in age from 1-7 yrs. PEP results can be employed to design an individually tailored educational and treatment program. In order to test interrater reliability, 10 children with pervasive developmental disorders were tested with the PEP. 2 independent observers classified the responses of the children as pass, emerge, or fail in the case of developmental items, or as absent, mild, or severe in the case of pathology items. Results lend support to the strength of the PEP in terms of accuracy of scores across observers, and confirm the notion that this test is a reliable instrument for the assessment of children with pervasive developmental disorders. |
