Unauthorized Access to Licensed Resources in the Scholarly Community

In the late summer of 2002, JSTOR experienced unusual and unprecedented high usage from a location on a participating campus. The net result was that over 51,000 articles were taken before they were able to stem the flow of unauthorized use.
