Zusammenfassung:In March 1992 the Women's Rights Committee of the European Parliament held a Forum on equal pay legislation, and concluded that a Memorandum should be adopted. This was finally done on 9 June 1994. Its limitations are such that the question as to how effective a Memorandum with proposals would be does not arise. It does give some insight into progress in other member states.
