Zusammenfassung: | In this paper, two hospital delivery systems are compared. According to the hospital managers' goal, the efficiency of a given system is measured by the following criteria: the number of carriers and storekeepers required by the system, the carriers and storekeepers' workload, and the space used in the warehouse. An operational research model is developed and solved by a heuristic method to evaluate the number of carriers required by the system. The problem consists of determining the working schedules of the carriers. |
