Zusammenfassung: | Psychologists, teachers, literary scholars, artists, and professional storytellers are just some of the adults who take their fairy tales - and their fairy tale Web sites - seriously. The importance of fairy tales to children's emotional development has long been addressed by psychologist Bruno Bettelheim. While psychologists and schoolteachers display a healthy respect for fairy tales, it is the university-level scholars whose sites are the most comprehensive and serious. Oxford University and its scholars Iona and Peter Opie who have put fairy tales on the academic map. Several Web sites devoted to fairy tales are discussed. |
