Mystery to mastery: the CSU Information Competence Project

This paper highlights major aspects of the California State University (CSU) Information Competence Project which were demonstrated at the ACRL President's Program Showcase of Ideas. Efforts to infuse information competence into the curriculum and to develop interactive instructional materials to facilitate the teaching and learning of information skills will be described. The background and context of the project will be reviewed and the three major project components presented at the Showcase will be discussed.
