Zusammenfassung:Suggests that an outcome measure of the effectiveness of occupational therapy is needed to provide relevant and meaningful data for the occupational therapy service and its purchasers; the profession also needs marketing to purchasers and potential employees and the methods of record-keeping need reviewing and updating. Considers the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM). Describes how the COPM was introduced to the service. The process resolved the challenges and provided many other unexpected benefits.
