Ethical reasoning in nurses' and physicians' stories about care episodes

Themes in nurses' and physicians' stories about ethically difficult care situations were described by means of narrative ethical theory. Nurses and physicians related different kinds of stories, and seemed to use different kinds of ethical reasoning. (Abstract amended)
