Zusammenfassung:Of 162 injecting drug users attending 2 London clinics, 31 thought it was likely that they had been exposed to HIV, and these subjects had injected drugs for longer, were more likely to have shared needles and syringes in the last year, to have used dealer's equipment and to have shared with someone from abroad. They also had more male sexual partners and were more likely to have resorted to prostitution. (Abstract amended)
