Zusammenfassung: | Computer Emergency Response Teams (CERTs), also referred to as Incident Response Teams (IRTs), are security teams used to enforce and guard information security of computer networks. There are already more than 45 CERTs registered in Europe and their number is still rapidly growing. The growing number of CERTs in Europe causes an increasing coordination problem. Three approaches were proposed to solve this problem: incident support, basic incident coordination, and full incident coordination. Although these approaches were initially developed as separate entities, they now form the three stages of the European IRT coordination model. |
