Zusammenfassung:An increasing amount of legal commentary during recent years has been concerned with developments in the relationship between information technology and law. In order to understand further the lawyers' use of IT, questionnaires were distributed to 1273 lawyers currently in the city of Leeds. An article seeks to provide empirical information that will contribute to current debates over the legal profession in late modernity.
