Zusammenfassung:SINCE the time when masses of men were first influenced by the speech of their fellows oratory has necessarily been a subject of interest and inquiry. At the present day, when the increase of our local representative bodies and the growth of education have made public speaking more common among both men and women than ever before, an attempt to integrate our thoughts, experiences and observations regarding it ought not to be less interesting, or less fruitful, than in the past.
