Zusammenfassung:Young-bae examines the rejection of Neo-Confucian paradigm in "Tianzhu shiyi" as well as the paradigmatic shift away from Neo-Confucianism in Dasan's philosophy. The philosophical legacy of Dasan, in which the Neo-Confucian moral metaphysics was transformed into a paradigm of man's socioethical practice, is highly regarded as the prototype of creatively combining the traditional philosophy with Western philosophy.
