Zusammenfassung:Paper presented at a Canberra seminar organised by the Commonwealth Department of Administrative Services (DAS) and the Royal Institute of Public Administration Australia entitled "Partnering - the Key to a More Competitive Australia" - partnering in both the private and the public sector is the right way to go - differences between government and private enterprise must be dealt with in advancing partnering - gains from partnering in the public sector can be enormous.
