Zusammenfassung:In making decisions about ethical issues for their organizations, effective nonprofit executives differ substantially from ineffective nonprofit executives, according to the study presented. The differences were so profound that an executive's effectiveness could be confidently predicted from his or her scores on a test of ethical reasoning. The implications for enhancing nonprofit executive effectiveness, and also organizational mores, are highlighted.
