Zusammenfassung: | Energy is one of the main factors in development. Countries with scarce conventional energy resources need to find alternatives if they are to avoid an energy crisis and arrested development. In any case, energy sources are known to be finite, and many strategies have been devised to meet this problem. The basic criterion in assessing alternative energy sources is that they should have a minimal impact on the environment. This article presents a study of the alternatives available in Thailand together with an assessment of their environmental effects. |
