Zusammenfassung: | A simplified method is proposed for analyzing reflection-refraction phenomena in transversely isotropic materials for arbitrary angles of incidence. The method, which is based on the approach originally suggested by Hosten and Tittmann, is sufficiently compact to be implemented on a microcomputer and can be useful in nondestructive analysis.
