Zusammenfassung: | The mixed fracture mode, designated 'M-fracture', is typical of the behavior of boron fiber-reinforced aluminum composites produced by solid state composite fabrication processes, since the development of adhesion between the fiber and matrix is largely nonuniform. The fracture surface of Al/B with M-fracture mode failure consists of two types of areas, one of which is characterized by many fiber pullouts from the matrix, while the other areas show no such phenomenon. Attention is also given to cumulative and noncumulative fracture phenomenon variants in Al/B. |
