Zusammenfassung:The database was originally designed as a static compilation of materials data (electrical conductance, density, and viscosity) and two methods were used to assess overall performances -principal component analysis (PCA) and partial least squares (PLS). The seven descriptors were implemented as a function of temperature available for 19 rare earth halides (equivalent weight, atomic number, electro negativity difference between cation and anion (ΔE),[18] cationic charge/radius ratio (Z^sub c^/ r^sub c^),[19] temperature of melting (Tmelt), and enthalpy and Gibbs free energy of formation at this temperature (ΔH^sub form^ and ΔG^sub form^)),[7-11] and these values are given in Table II.
