Zusammenfassung:Given the importance of cavitation during bulk hot working and superplastic sheet forming, a quantitative relation describing the dependence of the cavity-growth rate on stress state would be very useful. Nicolaou et al establish a correlation between the cavity-growth rate and stress state by comparing the predictions of different theoretical and phenomenological models with each other, as well as with experimental results from several prior efforts.
