Zusammenfassung: | The conference had as a major purpose to put a policy in place for agribusiness education. Australian agencies have been grappling with that, but many problems have shrouded the objective. First, agribusiness education must ge on the policy agenda; this conference went a long way toward that objective. Government interest in the issue is encouraging. Any policy put in place must focus on more education resources, a more prosperous rural populace, more rural leadership, better coordinated and larger educational organizations, and more social respect and pride in education, especially as a lifetime experience. The key policy makers have attended this conference, and a will to focus such a policy is starting to emerge. |
